On August 12, 2023, $mall Change for Big held a kickoff concert at the community center in Pine Grove. 60-70 people attended and had a great time rolling coins into paper covers and listening to the wonderful music provided by the well loved local group called Wicked Sisters. There was a silent auction with almost thirty items to bid on. A former resident of Amador County shared her story about how her life was changed by the bottomless care of Mary Pulskamp and her sister Patti Busch along with Ron Busch. Once homeless and broken, Amber is now a young mother with two children, two college diplomas and a job as an accountant over in Silicon Valley.

By the time the dust settled on the kickoff event, SC4B pulled in over $7000 to assist our neighbors in need. Big things are coming! Keep those coins coming!
